Most of the info below is still valid, but if your presentations only require a few equations then this new built-in functionality may be "good enough" for you!įor more than a decade, the main equation-editing tool for Keynote has been LaTeXit, and I would still recomment it to anyone who wants advanced functionality such as a formula library, easy control over fonts and dimensions, and the ability to copy/paste equations in numerous different formats (one of which I contributed to, as you can see in the LaTeXiT help document).
